We’re here to help! 

Here at Eastern CPR, our ACLS  Instructor Course is designed to empower future ACLS instructors to train participants according to the American Heart Association (AHA) Guidelines. Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the American Heart Association ACLS Instructor certification and you will be licensed to teach ACLS classes and certify your students. 

The ACLS Instructor Course content includes:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) skills and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) skills
• Teaching skills according to AHA policies and procedures
• How to use AHA course materials and how to operate teaching equipment
• How to provide quality feedback to class participants
• Practice teaching assignments
• As part of your teaching practice, you will teach other class participants and also perform skills performance evaluation of fellow class participants. We will learn from one another!
• In addition, we will also help you reinforce your ACLS skills listed below, and teach you how to instruct those skills to your future students:
• • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia and tachycardia
  • Airway management
  • Related pharmacology
  • Management of ACS and stroke
  • Effective Communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team

• We include the ACLS Instructor manual (a $63 value) for FREE! Just reach out to us regarding when to pick it up. 

Course prerequisites: 

1. You must have a current ACLS Provider Certification in order to attend the ACLS Instructor class. If you do not have a current ACLS Provider certification, click one of the links below to view our schedule and sign up for an ACLS Provider class before your Instructor class:

2. You must complete the American Heart Association ACLS Instructor Essentials Online course before coming to the ACLS Instructor class. The AHA charges $41.20 for this course. When you register for the ACLS Instructor course, we will send you a confirmation email with the link to the Instructor Essentials Online course. It will take less than 2 hours to complete. When you have completed the online course, email us your certificate before the date of your Instructor course, or print it and bring it with you.
